Role/Job Title: Area Head- Government & Institutional Banking
Function/ Department: Rural Banking

Roles & Responsibilities:
\'1. Responsible for ensuring achievement of budgets assigned to the state he will be managing.
2. Responsible for acquiring NTB institutional clients in Govt, Financial Institutions, Corporates and TASC segments for the Bank in the assigned state / geography through self or through team.
3. Managing existing relationships and ensuring best of services and deepening in their relationship value.
4. Knowledge and understanding of CMS, various electronic payment solutions, government agency business, basic understanding of trade and forex is desirable.
5. Develop superior working relationship with branches in the assigned geography for effective customer acquisition, servicing and deepening.
6. Ensure necessary product training, proposals to the team members and branches in coordination with product team.
7. Ensure performance metrics of RM-RI are met with
Secondary Responsibilities:
\'- Evaluate the growth strategy based on competitor analysis and feedback from different channels/customers
- Recommend process changes in order to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network
- Manage a team of Relationship Managers - Retail Institutions, taking responsibility of their development and attrition
- Develop and implement livelihood advancement and community development initiatives
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:
\'- Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure
- Monitor key parameters on employee productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements
- Enable teams to drive growth targets by providing necessary support
Key Success Metrics:
Customer Acquisition targets, Cross sell targets
