Educational Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineer Experience: Minimum 4-5 years experience in products designing for retail stores. Designing Software experience: Sketchup & AutoCad, Staying in or around Thane Kalyan Dombivali or nearby Bhiwandi, Badlapur, Ambernath etc. Pick up and drop available from Kalyan railway station Job Duties Based on the training and instructions given by Head Office in Italy, the Design Engineer needs to first make a planning sheet. As per the plan approved by HO, execute the same with in the stipulated time. Make design in SketchUp and AutoCad as per the satisfaction of Head Office. Regularly attend meeting as initiated by Head Office. Communicate with Head Office and update status of work completed on a regular agreed basis. Keep confidential the Design made and uploaded on the google drive. Candidate need to sing a NDA to keep confidentiality of Design work undertaken. He needs to support the Production Team and Sales Team by ensuring that required drawings in Sketchup / AutoCad are made and handed over on time to the Production Team / Sales Team. Should know how to calculate material cost based on the weights of the steel and based on the drawing provided. Good designing skill and communication skill. Should be able to communicate well with Senior Design Teams of the Customer as well as Production team of Vendors. Should be able to work out cost of the product being design and developed. Should be able to remove bill of material for costing purpose, for SAP updating, release material indent to purchase department based on net sales planned for the month. Should follow rules laid down by the company on product development and vendor development Reduce material cost. Have an eye on minimizing components. Key Responsibility. To align with our HO Team in Italy and prepare drawings based on the training and instructions given by our Head Office. Regular coordination with Head Office in Italy for development of new products as well as resizing of existing products as per store lay out. Planning and Execution of the company\'s Design Projects timebound. If required travel abroad to meet customers. To align with our local Design Team in India and prepare drawings based on the product development, images, tentative sketches, design docket etc. provided by our customers. As and when required, undertake visits with customer and vendors. With customers for understanding the needs for new product designing and developing, layout planning, value engineering etc., and with vendors for developing of products, inspection of new products being developed. Overall Responsible for coordination with internal customers. Eg, Sales, QC, Installation Team. Focus on development of new products, innovation, product re-engineering etc. Team Player Skills AutoCad, Sketchup. Designing of Modular Furniture and Shop fittings for retails stores, QSR, super markets, checkout counters etc. Skills in Preparation of Cost will get higher preference. Interpersonal and negotiation skill is essential. He need to have good communication skill with convincing power to get the best deal. Being Truth and Honest. Being good with written communication can make it easy to draft applications. Must have efficient knowledge about latest trend in the industry. Candidate must be literate in computer.
