: Profile - Application Support Engineer
Level - L1

• Working in 24X7 infrastructure support team for production environment.
• Configuration and review of server, monitoring customer specific incidents to ensure service level metrics are met, analysis of incidents and identification of root cause, liaison for customer projects and scope change and raising the change tickets
• Coordinate with hardware and software vendor whenever required to resolved issue to minimize downtime
• Responsible for analysis, support services and patch development and coordinate with development team
• Follows ITIL practices like incident Management, change Management, Problem Management and Provide RCA for the reoccurring incident
• Frequently attend calls and resolve issues like application outage, issue impacting multiple users, revenue impacting key function issues in the Offshore Crisis calls.
• Ensure resolution of issues within the defined SLA (Service Level Agreement), post-production of application support, creating the implementation plan for various activities, initiate crisis calls to resolve the issues which impact multiple interfaces.
• Maintaining reports of overall revenue, SLA reports, User Management, Incident management and publishing the same to Bharti top level.
• Major role in critical activities or any up gradation related to application or system.
• Root cause and system log analysis.
• Scheduling jobs using Cron-tab.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentations
• Thorough working and knowledge of Linux environment with server health check
• Knowledge on Linux file system disk management, schedule Crontab .manage user group permission, monitoring of server (cpu , memory disk , network utilization)
• Provide support on Linux os patching and migration.
• Monitoring database performance.
• Major Role in DB Purging and Patching Activity
• Working on activities such as password change, database management and testing on behalf of business.
• Perform activity like Server bounce, DB bounce, PIBS Cold backup activity etc.
