DGFF Manages the Warehouse Operations on SAP EWM. Warehousing operations of 65 Warehouses with 400+ Customers are implemented in eWMS Globally. DHL IT Services - SAP Logistics Team manages the Implementation of SAP EWM (eWMS) across all the regions and provides Run and support Activities. Ready to embark on the journey Here\'s what we are looking for: As an Application Support Specialist, having SAP EWM is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of SAP MM, SD will also be an integral part of this role. You are SAP aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of SAP Logistics Modules. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful. Work location: Chennai (Hybrid) Roles /Responsibilities: System Support: Provide day-to-day support for EWM users, addressing their queries and issues related to system functionality, configurations, and business processes. Monitor system performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively take measures to optimize and enhance system efficiency. Issue Analysis and Resolution: Analyze reported issues, incidents, and defects in the EWM system, understanding the root cause, and providing appropriate solutions or workarounds. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and other consultants, to resolve complex issues and ensure timely resolution. System Configuration and Customization: Collaborate with the implementation team to understand the initial EWM configuration and be familiar with the customizations made during the implementation phase. Propose and implement changes to the system configuration based on business requirements, ensuring best practices and maintaining system integrity . Testing and Validation: Participate in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the proper functioning of EWM processes and functionalities. Document test cases, scenarios, and results to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of EWM processes and functionalities, enabling them to make the most of the system\'s capabilities. Share knowledge and best practices with the support team and end-users to foster continuous improvement and efficiency. Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of the latest SAP EWM updates, trends, and industry best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements to the existing EWM system. Propose and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations and maximize the value derived from the EWM system. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and resolutions to ensure accurate records and facilitate knowledge transfer. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience as an EWM Functional Consultant or a similar role, with hands-on expertise in SAP EWM modules and functionalities. In-depth knowledge of warehouse management processes and industry best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with end-users. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
