You will be working as Application Specialist - MES P&P and will be part of Process Automation business area for Process Industries division based out at Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Engineering Manager and will be primarily responsible for executing and delivering digital solution across the globe for customers of process industries that consist of metals, mining, aluminum, cement, pulp & paper industry. Implementing and providing after sales service for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) / Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM) / Smart Manufacturing Operations Management (SMOM) solutions for process industries, including metals, cement, pulp & paper, food & beverage Industries. Your responsibilities : Demonstrating reasonable proficiency in software engineering in their own area of competence. Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in assigned area of software development / software quality engineering / software testing / DevOPS / cyber security / software release / support and maintenance / release management with limited supervision Participating along with sales to identify the customers needs to demonstrate and articulate the features of the digital solution and how it is best suited for the customer needs Participating in the assigned stages of the end-to-end customer lifecycle covering digital opportunity identification along with sales, opportunity qualification, discovery and value engineering, solution blueprinting, PoC / Pilot, solution deployment and post go-live operations / support Participating in ideation workstreams from identifying needs to validated and defined development together with cross functional teams of digital software engineers, user experience and subject matter experts for value creation Supporting customers from the sales cycle through the go-live, post-implementation review and follow-up stages. Providing end-user support by researching, diagnosing and analyzing customer requests and issues; escalates issues where necessary and keeps customers informed on progress Your background : Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering from a reputed university Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in experience in deployment Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for process plants Experience of maintenance and service of MES system for process plant is an added advantage Hands on experience of relational database Oracle, PL/SQL, time series database, reporting tools (Crystal, SAP BO) Hands on experience in C#, ASP.Net, RESTful API\'s, ReactJS and Blazor Good technical knowledge of MS SQL, SSRS, Web Services, TFS and IIS
