Your Key Responsibilities

• Contributes to the adaptation of products and systems out of the existing portfolio according to specified customer needs.
• Contributes to the full assessment of customer requirements as a basis of application development activities.
• Contributes to the translation of customer requirements into technical specifications as well as the release of the specifications after the 4-eyes principle.
• Carries out the technical project management.
• Develops applications according to defined and agreed specifications.
• Contributes to the product release externally (ensuring that the customer receives the optimal solution).

Your Qualifications

• University degree
• 1 to 3 years

Job Role :

Conducting technical/specification reviews with customers for new development project

Conducting new project meeting internally with CFT (supported by Local PMO) for the feasibility & risk level analysis

Support all BU chassis 4M change projects approval co-ordination at customer.

Participate in Global NPM reviews (Webex/skype) for new development projects.

Perform Engineering analysis using proven Schaeffler tools like BearinX etc

Making Purchase requisition (PR) for new development, Testing any other internal or external engineering services. Leads & Co-ordinates complete development process (including Internal & Customer DVP, DFMEA review, return part analysis).

Support organization building strategy to support growing business needs

Develop strong business relation-ship with OEM customers by providing excellent and timely technical support on wheel bearing products and visit to customers.

Develop business relationship and cooperation with counter parts from Global teams

Support competitive benchmarking, market studies for Wheel bearing products and defining strategies to mitigate competitive risks.

Support / Lead flawless and on time launch of Wheel bearing products with Indian OEM customers by close coordination of customer\'s testing, development, other project activities by timely managing project risks.

Plan, execute and control BU Chassis product line projects using Schaeffler\'s PEP / project Management methodologies using appropriate tools and close coordination with all the functions.

Support VAVE initiative to meet customer \xe2\x80\x9cTarget Cost\xe2\x80\x9c or make Schaeffler product cost competitive to Indian customers

Support / lead BU Chassis Engineering department initiative like FFQ, Audits preparations etc.

Support and develop new team members by providing necessary support and trainings

Should be able to do/learn manual engineering calculation without software support.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
• Good Communication skills
• Exposure / experience to handle OEM customers
• Experience in yrs. Min. 3 years - Max. 8 years
