Position Summary Purpose We are looking to create a best of breed ERP and Database platform with an associated agile Development process. You will need to be technically brilliant, commercially savvy with excellent communication skills. You Will be working to select, combine, adapt and tune existing best of breed ERP Software PeopleSoft components as a combination of ERP administration, Application Development and Application Management. His/her primary role is to work with the technology teams and deliver the solutions for the business users Duties & Responsibilities Functions Build, configure, debug and support PeopleSoft applications in a multi-instance hosting environment. In depth knowledge of servers running PeopleTools 8.5x, Oracle 12c,19c and 21c. System Administration skills in both enterprise Unix and Microsoft Windows. Should have experience in oracle container databases CDB/PDB. Experience on OCI and Azure will be preferred. Should be expert in refresh/cloning of PeopleSoft prod environment to development. Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating technical problems in the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) including, tuxedo application servers, process schedulers on both UNIX and NT and Web logic configuration. Have in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture security components. Work in multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools preferably 9.2 (Financials, HRMS and Portal) Patching of PeopleSoft Components like PeopleTools, Oracle Tuxedo and Weblogic. Configuring Integration Broker, defining gateway, creating and configuring nodes and Troubleshooting IB issues. Involved in troubleshooting the App server, Process scheduler and web server. PeopleSoft Elastic Search setup and administration. PeopleSoft application performance tuning and metrics measurement from database, OS, network. Working knowledge of two-tier/three-tier setup for nvision. Hands on experience with PeopleTools/Application Upgrades PeopleSoft PUM Installation and maintenance of environment. Applied Patches/ Bundles/ Maintenance Packs/Tax Updates from the PeopleSoft PUM to the PeopleSoft databases on timely basis. Provide recommendations for tuning PeopleSoft servers (app server/webserver/process scheduler tiers) to maximum performance. Microfocus Visual Cobol compiler installation, license renewal and cobol compilation. Change control management using Application Designer /Phire i.e. Project Migration & Script execution Assist with planning for growth and changes (capacity planning). Must worked on PeopleSoft UNIX Systems and Windows Systems with sound knowledge in SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Powershell Scripting. Documentation, creation of training materials and planning of knowledge transfer. Working experience cloud Infrastructure will be preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities Reporting Relationship Directly Reporting to the Manager(Jitendra Acharya) Qualifications Qualifications Full Time Graduates / Post Graduates in: BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS Must be able to speak and write English with advanced proficiencies and experience speaking with international customers is a plus. Should be highly motivated and energetic individual Willingness and ability to operate in several different technical disciplines is a must. Willing to work in Shifts. Willing to relocate to Chandigarh Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics 5+ yrs. Experience in PeopleSoft Administration and development. Should have advance level Performance tuning skillset in Oracle Database. Should have independently able to identify and resolve database performance issues Communication, teamwork and negotiation skills Problem-solving and good analytical skills Flexibility and adaptability Skill to work in tight deadlines under pressure Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and customers Business awareness and understanding of project requirements.
