Job Description

- Should be familiar with Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and the ecosystem
r - Should be familiar with Material Design guidelines, common mobile UX patterns, and anti-patterns
r - Should be able to tell good design from bad design
r - Ability to write clean, modular, maintainable code which others can work on
r - Always keen to decrease tech debt, participate in code review sessions and suggest best practices
r - Have experience with common Android libraries like Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso, RxJava, Gson, Arch-components etc.
r - Have experience with different programming paradigms, esp. functional and reactive programming
r - Be familiar with REST APIs, and what makes them RESTful
r - Knowledge on git and continuous integration
r - Proficient at object-oriented programming and multi-threading
r - Should have good understanding of advanced Android concepts like Custom Views, Accessibility Services, background processing APIs
r - Have understanding of different architectural patterns (esp. MVVM) and their testability
