Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

Job overview and responsibilities

The Analyst - Tech Ops Master Data is responsible for maintaining integrity of the parts cataolog as translated from OEM and Engineering documents to ensure supply chain meets compliance and can operate efficiently. Other responsabilities include data analysis, translating engineering documents, keeping the supply chain compliant with part changes, and controlling part interchangeability. This role requires cross-functional coordination throughout the entire supply chain organization as our customers. We are looking for a motivated self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks, playing a key role to proactively identifying discrepancies in the data, devise a disposition plan, and execute the resolution.

• Create, maintain, and delete part numbers in the supply chain catalog in compliance with engineering authorizations
• Work cross-functionally to ensure part attributes are correct
• Support daily operational needs from various business prtners within supply chain
• Identify proactive solutions to improve parts catalog integrity and see them to completion
• Effectively communicate with business partners, monitoring execution of changes and ensuring completion of activities

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
• BS degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, supply chain management, computer science, or related field
• At least two years of experience in an analytics or process improvement-oriented role in supply chain, aviation, manufacturing or related industry
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, statistical and mathematical methods, inventory management, and automation of complex business processes
• Understanding of supply chain functions including sourcing/procurement, vendor management, inventory planning, warehousing and logistics
• Knowledge of relational database models and SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify automation opportunities in existing processes to improve efficiency
• Exhibits an analytical approach to problem solving with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree
• Familiarity with ERP capabilities
• At least one year of airline experience
• At least one year of supply chain experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
• Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) functions
• Familiarity with the airline industry
• Familiarity with MRO planning
• Programming experience in a scripting language such as Python, R, and/or Julia
• Familiarity with Line and Base maintenance planning and operations
