This job is designed to improve and protect the respective applications, and software systems behind the enterprises\' technology platforms. Additionally, the incumbent will have expectations to manage, monitor, and respond to scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, capacity, and the efficient delivery of product(s) faster, better, and at a cost effective standard. Will support CI/CD pipelines to build next-gen automation capabilities in support of technology on cloud native platforms all in a collective effort to enable an outstanding customer experience, and product innovation, by continuous improvement of operational support.

JOB SUMMARY
This job is designed to improve and protect the respective applications, and software systems behind the enterprises\' technology platforms. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with different database connectivity from client tools like Teradata studio, Toad for Oracle, IBM data studio.
• Able to handle / follow up the issues on database connectivity and provide the solutions appropriately within the SLA.
• With guidance, can provide/ recommend areas of attention and potential improvements.
• With guidance, will create, industrialize, and maintain documents on the issues for future purpose.
• Will be expected to contribute in tool upgradations.
• Will understand and be able to explain improvements to availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of organization\xe2\x80\x99s services.
• Will coordinate and work with different teams in getting the issues resolved related to connectivity / application issues.
• Learns, and with guidance follow practices, metrics, and prescriptive processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify the exact issue with the tool.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION

Required

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer & Information Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology.

Substitutions
? <2 years of related and progressive experience in database support.

EXPERIENCE

Required

• 1 year working knowledge in any database area like SQL.
• 1 year working knowledge of enterprise operations and ITIL processes / tools
• 1 year working knowledge of tools like Teradata studio, Toad for Oracle.
• Knowledge on Teradata/db2 Jar files.
• Experience working in Agile Environment.

Preferred

• Experience with IT Governance & Operations frameworks including ITIL, CMMI, etc.
• Experience in Client Interactions.
• 2 years working knowledge of enterprise monitoring systems/tools
  

SKILLS

• Working knowledge on SQL database and database tools like Teradata studio/ express, IBM data studio, Toad for Oracle, Tableau, Alteryx, will be an added skill.
• Good communication skills and client handling skills.
• Should be ready to learn new skills.
