Job Description

Acacia part of Cisco designs, develops, manufactures and sells intelligent transceivers using sophisticated signal processing and photonic integration for the 100G, 400G and 1T bit speed fiber optic transmission market deployed in data center, metro, long-haul and ultra-long haul telecommunication networks.

The Candidate will be part of Research and Development team that cultivates creativity, innovation, and engineering excellence. He will be working from Bangalore location interacting with multiple teams across the globe in developing layout designs for optical communications products.

:High Speed Analog and Mixed Signal layout design.

Roles/Responsibilities:

Layout engineer specializing in custom deep sub-micron technology.

To work independently on Analog layout designs of block level and chip level from schematics.

Interface with Design Engineers facross the globe to provide feedback and implement enhancements to endure design correctness and robustness.

Participate in layout reviews across various teams.

Work within a team Framework

Requirements:

The candidate must have a minimum of4to6 years of experiencewith UG/PG(inElectrical/Electronics)degree.

The candidate should have thorough work experience (strongly desired) in preferred 5nm/7nm or at least 16nm FinFET technology.

The candidate must have at least 3-4 years of relevant experience in High Speed Analog Layout design of various designs like SerDes, PLLs, ADCs, DACs and building blocks like amplifiers, comparator, oscillator, voltage and current reference circuits etc.

Experience with Cadence design tools (layout L/XL/GXL), Calibre verification tools and Skill scripting is a plus.

Should be proficient in DRC, LVS, DFM, ERC, Density clean-up and also worked on reliability checks like IR Drop, EM, ESD & Latchup etc

Responsible for timely and quality execution of layout design.

Excellent communication skills and able to work with various teams.
