We are looking for a Design engineer in the circuits team to join our Advanced Memory Design Team. The successful candidate will develop innovative circuit designs from architecture, circuit development, validation, developing models including parasitic and load and supervising layout development with layout designers.

Responsibilities: * Develop the needed circuit architecture to meet product specifications.

  • Provide circuits solutions to optimize area, active power, leakage power and performance.
  • Develop path level model for the blocks including RC parasitic and load to run critical functionality, performance, reliability and power simulations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly within the design team.
  • Document and explain clearly in design reviews and work with cross functional teams.
Qualifications

0-2 years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering. Master's degree is preferred.

Skills:

Required: * Experience with Cadence Virtuoso or similar design suite tools for daily schematic work.
  • Experience with custom circuit design simulation & waveform tools like HPSICE, SPECTRE, FINESIM, EZWAVE or similar tools.
  • CMOS Digital Logic design using custom circuit design.
  • Deep knowledge of CMOS device physics.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least 1 analog building block including regulators, bandgap, current mirrors, level shifters, buffering circuits, DAC, ADC, temperature sensors (PTAT), high speed CMOS circuits.
  • Self-motivated, creative thinking, strong debug skills and positive attitude.
  • In depth knowledge of analog & mixed signal circuits & concepts including mismatch, linearity, low power CMOS design.
Preferred: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with UNIX, PERL or/and Python scripting.
  • Design experience with NAND or DRAM or SRAM or similar memory technologies.
