Our teams work closely across the firm to develop and deliver new products and services, while mitigating operational risk and enhancing the client experience. We drive process and technology change to scale and automate our businesses. Operations professionals are either embedded in the revenue division that they support, or they support multiple businesses and are part of core Operations.

Our Bengaluru GSAM Retail SMA Oversight team is seeking a professional who is looking to partner with our diversified client base and global business counterparts to provide best-in class client experience to define solutions and lead change across the operational infrastructure.

In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve the firm\'s assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that make the business flow.
The GSAM Retail SMA Oversight team sits within the Asset Management Division and has primary responsibility of portfolio accounts, new account funding, client servicing and serves as the single point of contract for all operations related client inquiries. Functions cover a wide range of clients and a complex product range, which includes equities, fixed income and mutual funds. The group supports portfolio managers, sales and client relationship professionals by providing accurate and timely client account information and overseeing all aspects of operational risk across portfolios.
