Role description: Network Migration Project Manager

Reports To: One Network Programme Manager

Project Overview
The One Network project is the final step in integrating the networks to single Network.
since 2021,the networks have been interconnected via firewalls and the overlapping IP have been removed. We now need to apply security standards to each ex- site (~300 sites) and then reconfigure the sites to join the SDWAN. The
work will be conducted in a number of parallel streams, with each stream containing the end to end activities for a set of sites.

Role Overview

The Network PM takes overall delivery responsibility for getting each site ready to migrate, and then migrated to the new network, using a team including architect (manages technical design aspects), network tech
designer (network design assessment and documentation), firewall analyst, onsite support etc

Responsibilities and Duties
? End to end responsibility for delivery of site migrations from old network to new network, for a group of sites, mainly within one geographic region
? Manage all project interactions with sites in collaboration with \xe2\x80\x9cIT Business Partner\xe2\x80\x9d team
? Manage pipeline of change requests necessary to prepare and migrate the site
? Manage dedicated small team focused on a set of sites, and interaction with wider team \xe2\x80\x93 other streams, and resources shared across streams
? Manage day to day interaction with third-party team members e.g. from British Telecom,DXC, Accenture, Computacenter, who may be permanently assigned to the team or needed
for specific activities on a site

Qualifications/Experience required
? Mandatory: Experience managing rollout projects in network environments
? Mandatory: experience delivering technical projects in enterprise environment requiring cooperation with multiple internal and external parties
? Preferred: Experience with SDWAN (ideally Velocloud)
? Preferred: experience delivering projects related to other parts of infrastructure eg compute, storage, cloud
? Preferred : experience in international environment covering many time zones
