Candidate Skills :

a) Relevant investment banking / corporate finance background / M&A advisory / consulting / private equity / transaction advisory experience of a minimum of 5 years

b) Good academic record with strong analytical and deal execution skills

c) Commercial acumen and strong networking skills

d) Sound financial knowledge including but not limited to financial statement analysis, valuations capital markets, etc.

e) Ability to work independently across multiple engagements

f) Motivated and self- driven, with an ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas

g) Strong modelling and presentation skills

h) Ability to independently handle and meet client expectations

i) Track record of developing and training Associates / Senior Associates

j) Distinguishes himself / herself as a Trusted Business Advisor

k) Demonstrates a proprietorship attitude

l) Experience in project managing diligence, document review etc.

Role Expectations :

The job is a front office corporate finance advisory role, which will include primary (sole) and secondary (joint) responsibilities across the deal cycle including but not limited to :

a) Supporting new business development, ideation, leads generation - independent delivery of pitch books, pitch presentations, new deal ideas

b) Primary Responsibility for delivering high quality deal marketing documents - effectively liaise and brainstorm with clients for preparing IMs and business plans

c) Primary responsibility for Sell side Investor / Buyer outreach

d) Primary responsibility towards developing and managing relationships with client personnel and secondary responsibility towards managing promoter / shareholder expectations

e) Secondary responsibility towards deal negotiations, term sheet discussions

f) Responsible for project managing the diligence process

g) Responsibility to deliver definitive documentation along with deal lawyers

h) Practice and team development responsibilities

i) Independent responsibility to the market - network, build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, professionals, funds, advisors etc.

j) Take complete ownership of the engagement
