Who you will work with The Global Functions Technology ( GFT ) Engineering and Architecture Practice ( EAP ) is a newly created organization which focuses on ensuring architectural cohesion and delivering common, cross-functional capabilities for our Line of Business Technology organizations (Finance, Risk, Compliance and Human Resources). The GFT EAP reports jointly into the Head of Global Functions Technology and the CTO for Enterprise Operations & Technology. Within GFT EAP, there is the Developer Services team. This team is responsible for empowering and enabling developers with the best tools and processes to make their lives better as Software Engineers. The roles in that team are equal parts strategist, execution driver and change agent. The Senior Agile Coach position will work closely with members of the Developer Services team, GFT Stakeholders and our Agile delivery teams. For this position, we are seeking a Senior Agile Coach to join our Agility Enablement team within Citi\'s Global Functions Technology organization. The Role The Senior Agile Coach is a highly visible and impactful position that will serve to enable GFT\'s 16,000-person technical organization through a multi-year modern Agile transformation. Along the way you will work with our nascent Agile delivery teams and existing team of Agile Coaches to build out best practices and scalable processes in Agile delivery. In addition, you will coach our Agile delivery teams on continuous improvement, report on Agile transformation risks and overall progress to stakeholders, and act as a change agent to reinforce an Agile mindset shift. Responsibilities Act as a guide for Agile teams during GFT\'s multi-year Agile transformation Work with stakeholders, existing Agile Coaches, and functional leads to define and execute upon strategies adopting Agile Perform hands-on coaching activities for your teams including but not limited to: Enable and educate managers for how to organize, mobilize, and launch Agile teams Influence process execution by guiding product owners and mentoring team members Drive continuous process improvements enabling smart, sustainable delivery Report on patterns in intra-team Agile dynamics Identify patterns for reinforcement and opportunities for growth Establish feedback loops Design and lead training workshops to educate key individuals on the pragmatics of Lean-Agile values, principles, and practices Collaborate with our client organizations to adopt sustainable Lean-Agile capabilities and processes Coach and mentor more junior colleagues in Agile Coaching best practices The experience you bring Previous experience coaching at least 2 Agile teams concurrently, ideally through an agile transformation. Experience with a large-scale enterprise Agile transformation Experience managing customer expectations, and ensuring your work is aligned with the goals and objectives Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or demonstrable equivalent experience in those roles. Demonstrated experience as an agile coaching professional Minimum of 5 years of practical Agile exposure Should have a working understanding of Scrum, Kanban and Lean methodologies Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or scaled Agile framework experience Hands-on experience in guiding product owners to translate user needs into Acceptance Criteria Understanding of the technical enablers of Agile delivery and how they operate within an Agile organization (e.g. CI, CD) Experience with Agile tools including: - Atlassian Jira and Confluence or similar backlog management and wiki tooling - Agility Health Radar or similar Agile team scoring tools - MS-teams or other Agile project management tool - Agile testing and DevSecOps tools a plus Education Bachelor\'s/University degree, Master\'s degree preferred Scrum Master certification a plus Job Family Group: Project and Program Management Job Family: Program Management Time Type: Full time Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
