About the department

DD&IT Product Supply is a unit responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support and development of these systems. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business ensuring that we provide the IT solutions and support which is needed to support the Novo Nordisk production solution as well as supply chain needs worldwide. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. This includes SAP logistics modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management(MM), Advanced planner Optimiser (APO), Plant Maintenance(PM), Quality Management(QM), Production Planning and Process Industry(PPPI), Warehouse Management(WM/EWM), Advanced Track and Trace for pharmaceutical( ATTP), Global Batch Traceability (GBT) modules which are among the most critical IT systems in Novo Nordisk and they are used 24x7 by thousands of NN users worldwide.

The Position

As an Advance business analyst, you will be responsible to support the Supply Chain Operation Planning team to manage & support Systems (OMP OPR, SAP APO, SAP ECC), IT - BI tool including new initiatives and attend the project workshops, meetings, support the product owner of Planning Team. Your primary responsibility will be:

  • Test the systems, support the end user trainings, and support the implementation of new IT-BI tools. You will provide data analysis about Supply Chain and participate actively the test of the system (current SAP APO - SNP, PPDS and in OMP) and coordinate the tests during UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Discuss possible changes /improvements in the IT system with the regions and align on the best solution. Co-ordinate with the Product Owner to implement the same in the IT system.
  • Ensure that OMP OPR system is managed and sustained flawlessly. Continuously strive for improvement, highlight system, and process improvement need, and work with the Central Planning Team to address the improvement need.
  • Support and maintain the IT Systems (such as SAP ECC, SAP APO, OMP OPR), co-ordinate with analytics and BI Tools teams (such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, etc).
  • Support for the governance of Data Lake and other IT integration solutions, projects and keep track of different releases /functionalities introduced in the IT system and present the same to different users.
Qualifications
  • Masters or Bachelor\'s degree or relevant technology experience with high level technical certifications (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration).
  • Strong conceptual understanding of, and at least 6+ years of experience with the SAP logistic landscape and Strong Supply Chain Network Planning (SNP) and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS), must have SAP ECC integration with APO and OMP. Nice to Have - Demand Planning experience in OMP.
  • 8+ years of IT experience in specification, design, development, validation, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in EDI, external interface integration with SAP SD module as well as experience from working in a project oriented, international matrix organisation.
  • Good understanding, experience with Agile framework and exposure to pharmaceutical industry will be an added advantage.
  • On a personal level you are a team player who can work both in teams and still be able to work independently, focus on efficiency and business value in all tasks being executed, and communicate productively with clients.
  • Besides, you have great time management and organisation skills along with the ability to prioritise own work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of work.
  • An excellent communicator and comfortable working with different countries across multiple time-zones. A team player, who excels in a busy environment with a high degree of empowerment.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You must have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.
