The Position.

As an SAP FI functional consultant, you shall be responsible for day-to-day operation and maintenance of SAP FI system which includes Finance and Control Modules, managing General Ledger accounting, Fixed asset, Product costing, Profitability Analysis (COPA) etc. along with covering maintenance and support spanning multiple company codes and multiple countries. The SAP Finance module is most critical IT system in Novo Nordisk, and they are used 24x7 by thousands of users worldwide.

As an incumbent you will be required to complete these main job tasks which include Support & Maintenance (Incident, Problem & Change Management, Expedited and Urgent Change request.) The technical skills required are SAP Finance: General Ledger (GL)/New General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable(AR), Asset Accounting, Banking, Special Purpose Ledger, Funds Management, Sales and Distribution, Material Management, and material ledger, Controlling: Cost Element/Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing (CO-PC), Profit Centre Accounting (CO-PCA) and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:

• Participate and support in FLGS ART (Attend PI ceremonies, Daily stand-up, Retrospective meeting, Iteration meetings), Design and configure Company Code, Profit Centre Hierarchy, Inventory.
• Configure GL, AP, AR, Controlling/Planning as part of SAP Accounting, Design and Configure SAP FI- GL, AP , AR ,Banking, Integration for SAP FI/CO with MM/IM, SD, PP as per business process, Design and Manager SAP Finance (General Finance) Workflows, System knowledge to support on Interfaces, IDocs relates to other SAP Modules (SD, MM etc), Manage to develop documentation for end users.
• Support to SAP Accounts Receivable and Consolidation, knowledge.

Qualifications

• You need to be a Graduate in the relevant field along with good English communication skills and co-ordination skills.
• You need to hold an experience of at least 5 - 7 years in SAP - FI from IT background.
• Need to be proactive and have an analytical bent of mind along with being a creative out of the box thinker.
• knowledge in SAP S/4 Hana and exposure to stakeholder and vendor management would be an added advantage.

About the department
DD&IT GBS is the unit responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. FLGS- IT -SAP has systems which support finance, legal and procurement processes in Novo Nordisk.
