About the Department

The purpose of this position is to support Novo Nordisk Procurement through GBS in complete sourcing life cycle including supply base analysis, managing RFx, negotiations and supplier relationship management. In this position, the incumbent will work in a matrix organization structure having a solid line reporting to Finance GBS (Global Business Services), Procurement - Business Insights & Sourcing and dotted line to the different procurement organizations across the globe. Business Insights and Sourcing, team is overall responsible for supporting procurement team with Sourcing activities, project Support, e-auction, spend analytics, supplier management, Contracting, Reporting and Dashboards.

The Position

As an Advanced Analyst -Sourcing the key responsibilities are:

  • Driving & manage multiple strategic and tactical sourcing projects for the indirect spend areas (Marketing, meetings and events, fleet, facilities, etc.).
  • Liaising with stakeholders to understand the requirements and to create the RFx documents accordingly.
  • Managing RFI/RFP/RFQ with close coordination with business and procurement stakeholders.
  • Conducting detailed bid analysis to assess the factors driving price variations. Proficient in spend analysis and dashboards creation.
  • Market research to identify best-in-class suppliers, industry trends and procurement best practices.
  • Identifying sourcing opportunities based on spend data and market dynamics. Prepare commodities and indices tracker to support stakeholders for negotiations.
  • Reviewing the contracts and establish best-in-class KPIs, SLAs and provisions.
Qualifications

Below are key skills and qualifications required for this job.
  • Bachelor\'s degree from a reputed university. MBA preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in source-to-contract.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Experience in eProcurement tools.
  • Strategic sourcing, procurement intelligence, spend analytic, negotiations.
