Citizen Digital Foundation (CDF) is a pioneering non-profit operating out of Trivandrum, Kerala providing knowledge solutions for Digital & Media Literacy and Responsible Tech Innovation across sections of the society, business, and government.We are now in the process of curating our sessions to scale out across India and it is an exciting, challenging, and highly rewarding time for anyone joining our organisation.Stipends would range from ? 5,000-10,000/- across roles depending on competencies.Business Development InternThis is a hybrid role for candidates based in Kochi with physical business development meets, and online reporting. The resource will work with corporations, educational institutions, and other NGOs to promote the sessions and programmes provided by CDF.The role reports to the Director of Business.Job description:

• Identifying top-notch leads, establishing enduring relationships with clients, and close sales.

• Providing business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.

• Selling CDF products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; proactively recommending solutions.

• Identifying product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

• Preparing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information.

• Contributing to organisational goals by accomplishing related results as needed.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• An MBA

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills.

• Quick learner, skilled in negotiations, with the ability to persuade others of the value of our offerings.

• An open mindset and a 'can-do' attitude.

• Good understanding of technology.

• Ed-tech background would be an advantage.
