Conduct regular financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to establish realistic financial targets.
Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets and identify areas of overspending or cost-saving opportunities.
Implement cost control measures to optimize resource allocation and improve financial efficiency.
Treasury Management:
Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization\'s financial stability and meet short-term obligations.
Develop and execute strategies for optimizing working capital, managing debt, and mitigating financial risks.
Establish and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable terms for financing and investment activities.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal control policies.
Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to address any findings and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
Strategic Financial Management:
Provide strategic guidance and financial expertise to support long-term planning and decision-making.
Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives to assess their financial viability and risks.
Develop financial models and scenarios to analyze the potential impact of strategic decisions on the organization\'s financial performance.
Team Leadership and Development:
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the finance department to enhance skills and capabilities.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the finance team and with other departments across the organization.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with senior management, board of directors, investors, and other stakeholders to communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the organization\'s financial objectives and strategic initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial matters, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
