Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

• Accounting Manager will lead Electrical America for ETE support and will work collaboratively with finance, accounting, business operations and senior management with Segment of Regional Finance team. The supervisor will be responsible for leading team, provide guidance, expand business, manage transition, regular connect with customer, standardize reporting, generate efficiency, manage escalation etc. .
• This position would be a supervisory role directly reporting to Electrical Manager Finance

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Limit yourself to 8-12 statements)

• Administer Transitions to Successfully Deploy the projects and sustain Quality and Timeliness
• Lead Team in terms of Performance management while Adhering to ELM
• Record any measurable statistics which your position impacts such as production expenses, maintenance expenses, sales volumes, payroll costs, capital expenditures, research budgets, cost of purchases, value of inventories controlled, employees supervised (direct and indirect).
• Work with cross function team & develop and deploy transferrable parctices
• Support and propose various initiatives to reduce complexity, standardize and improve efficiency of financial processes, leveraging GFSS tools and capabilities, drive automation
• Promotion of good financial stewardship by helping control costs, driving forecast accuracy, driving balance sheet integrity, and ensuring proper controls are in place
• Coordinate, interpret and respond to ad hoc financial requests within the region
• Perform additional analyses as assigned.

B. Work in the Global team environment directly supporting the EMEA/NA Electrical Region and interacting with various business partners in the business locations across different functions

Qualifications

Accounting Degree (CA), MBA-Finance or B.com. (Accounting) with required experience

• Must have an end-to-end process knowledge for ETE, RTR, GL/FA , FP&A and good understanding of OTC , PTP , RTR & FP&A encompassing overall accounting as the area
• Good experience of Oracle & SAP ERP
• Team leading experience , supporting global project & customer
• 8-15 years of total experience
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX
• Excellent analytical, written and oral English communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across boundaries/business lines.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), Excel Macro
• Dealing with ambiguity with regard to changes in regulations/external requirements
• Systematic process orientation, strong analytical and problem solving skills
