Role: Accounting Manager FinMkt is seeking an accounting manager to join our hardworking and fast-paced team. This motivated self-starter will support our internal and external reporting and financial analytics function including quarterly and annual financial reporting and reconciliations. This job will provide a dynamic and versatile individual with the opportunity to become familiar with one of the world\xe2\x80\x99s most advanced technology delivery platforms for online financial products and services including consumer loans. This position is intended to provide an entry point for a qualified and hungry candidate with requisite experience to take on a significant amount of responsibility within our quickly growing finance team. Responsibilities include: - Learning how our financial accounting system works and managing the monthly accounting process together with the CFO - Making entries into our accounting system (QuickBooks Online) including revenue and expense categorizations - Leading the month end closing process with all appropriate reconciliations and journal entries - Performing accounting entries and supporting month and quarter-end financial closing processes including monthly bank account reconciliations - Playing a leading role in annual financial reporting and our annual GAAP financial audit - Account for funding and funds distribution and making the required entries in our books - Work directly with internal cross functional teams to further develop FinMkt\xe2\x80\x99s financial processes - Creating invoicing summaries in Excel for monthly partner invoices - Creating and reconciling billing accounts for partners and confirming all payments are made on a timely basis - Managing both AR/AP as well as payments and partner account reconciliations - Experience with fixed asset/depreciation and prepaid amortization journal entries -Assisting with devising and implementing policies and procedures for a wide-range of issue types - Supporting our board reporting process with analytics to convey financial progress of the business Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Preferably looking for only male candidates only \xc2\xb7 BA in accounting, finance or business or 3+ years of experience in a financial accounting-oriented role \xc2\xb7 Deep experience in month/quarterly/year end accounting closing processes \xc2\xb7 Understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting and financial audit concepts \xc2\xb7 Experience in a financial audit for a corporate entity. \xc2\xb7 Experience in designing and implementing financial reporting controls and policies and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Financial analytics skills to convey accounting and financial analytics and information to executive management. \xc2\xb7 Experience with Microsoft Office applications including a high proficiency in Excel. \xc2\xb7 Understanding of accounting and financial reporting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite or equivalent \xc2\xb7 Ability to effectively and clearly communicate instructions to others, summarize and articulate issues, and document findings in a clear and concise manner. \xc2\xb7 Self-directed and self-motivated with demonstrated experience in problem solving. \xc2\xb7 Experience creating workflows to accomplish operational requirements. \xc2\xb7 Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. \xc2\xb7 Willingness to learn state and annual tax requirements and assist with our annual corporate tax filing process. \xc2\xb7 High degree of personal and professional integrity \xe2\x80\x93 consistent, trustworthy, honest and fair in dealing with bank staff and clients Perks and Benefits: Work-life balance Health & accidental insurance Employee Provident Fund Open door policy with the leadership team.
