You will build relationships with our customers to identify future opportunities and successfully negotiate and close deals. You will highlight risks and opportunities to the business and shape the use of data-driven decision making. You must be able to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement while creating satisfied and reference-able customers. Responsibilities Managing entire sales process to position Elsevier Health Science Solutions with an empahsis on new business sales. Developing sales and marketing strategies for selling subscription based solutions based on India strategic directions, market analysis and sales goals Develop a deep client relationship by establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to across all levels of client contacts including the key C-level executive stakeholders Managing planning, forecasting and monitoring against budget. Understanding business chllanges and coming up with effective solutions to mitigate risks Building and developing sales competencies through training on products, systems and sales techniques. Be a coach for the terms of Value Selling & Sales Methodologies Monitoring market developments to understand the impact of our execution and to develop and improve our go-to-market strategies for Elsevier's clinical solutions in the HS market Regular update of the CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline data focused on accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery. Involving and engaging with Key Leaders to position Elsevier as a leader in the industry in this space. Requirements Be a strategic thinker with the ability to devise audience focused communications plans that help us achieve our goals Have a solid and successful background in using a solutions-sales approach to consultative selling in a business-to-business environment Be customer focused and able to build and maintain relationships internally and externally through value driven and collaborative interactions Show excellent organizational skills, strategic planning and analytical approach to manage account Demonstrate great networking and successful negotiation skills Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
