Job Description


The incumbent will explore, identify, and foster trust-based working relationships with key national, regional, and local stakeholders to facilitate bringing essential medicines consistently and efficiently to market in the Asian Sanofi Global Health Unit countries (Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao, Bhutan, PNG, Timor Leste, Pacific Islands, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Syria, Yemen...) The incumbent will also work in close collaboration with other teams within the GHU and Sanofi Business Units to develop, implement and monitor health system strengthening initiatives to improve NCD care in the GHU countries. Duties & Responsibilities Strategy Formulate and implement market access strategies to achieve and maintain optimal access for Sanofi’s GHU products across the different channels in the supported region/ countries Stakeholder management

  • Explore and identifies key stakeholders in-market and establish relationships with key government officials, programme influencers, implementation partners, faith based organization, private organizations and decision makers to facilitate broader discussions on Sanofi’s GHU Access programme and health systems strengthening initiatives and in the target region/ country in coordination with cross-functional network.
  • Represents Sanofi Global Health within internal and external working groups and at public/scientific events in cooperation with Public Affairs
Program management
  • Lead the co-design of NCD Initiatives with GHU Teams (Medical, Public Affairs, Programme Leads and Access Teams) and other Sanofi Business Units to improve access to NCD care (Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Oncology and TB) and ensure that product availability & affordability is built in the program.
  • Follow-up implementation of the programs, including legal and budget aspects.
  • Ensure communication and alignment of activities across government and partner stakeholders’ efforts and across other GHU programs across the region to ensure coordination and successful execution of the programs.
  • Support the measurement methodology for outputs/outcome/impact for each program; and implement said measurement
Commercial
  • Collaborate with other GHU teams to generate forecasts, including market access projections and product penetration analysis.
  • Support commercial performance and delivery of treatments through tenders activities and customer interaction.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
  • Solid Project Management experience, preferably including experience working in LMICs, experience in managing partnerships
  • Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment

Qualifications Medical background with experience in research-based pharmaceutical/biotech industry or global health organization (working in a scientific or commercial role with broad knowledge of the therapeutic area of the program, preferably global health, or public health experience and/or working in pharmaceutical access departments or in the development of negotiation strategies for payers) O ther re quirements of the job Travel in the GHU countries expected for around 25% of time At Sanofi diversity and inclusion is foundational to how we operate and embedded in our Core Values.
