• B.Tech/M.Tech - ECE/CS with 12-15 years\' experience
• Experience in the Automotive In-Vehicle Infotainment projects
• Experience in managing Technical/Customer projects/programs with geographically distributed teams
• Experience in Operating Systems, C & C++ Software development and Competence development
• Experience in People management of at least 25+ engineers
• Strong Experience & Ability to dive deep in the embedded software / systems domain and Automation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

BE/BTech/MTech/ME/MS

Additional Information

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing Customer Engineering group in Automotive In-Vehicle Infotainment domain.
• Alignment of Group to the Company Vision, Mission, strategy, and objectives within group
• Operating from Bangalore/Coimbatore & Willingness to travel based on business/project needs

Operations:

• Responsible for appropriate staffing of all projects with assignment of roles and responsibilities
• Planning and allocation of resources for projects, tools, hardware, etc. and ensure deployment as per targets
• Delivery of all tasks/projects on schedule and with quality
• Responsible for service quality & service levels within the group for the products/services
• Periodic review of all projects to ensure QCD on track & MSR reporting to management, customer & Stake-holders
• Support in department level business planning activities
• Customer Engagement and Satisfaction - delivery to Cost, Quality, and Schedule
• Invoice sale order creation in SAP as per work done, BP approved business plans & stakeholder agreements
• Interfaces and influencing

• Engage and influence Project Directors, Group Leads & Project Managers counterparts at customer end
• Manage customer visits, project status review and reporting
• Supporting project acquisition

Process and Technology:

• Support corporate functions for process implementation, lessons learned, optimization & improvements
• Evaluation and feasibility analysis of technical requirements
• Knowledge of Open Source Tools and Technology
• Development & Integration of embedded applications for Automotive Infotainment and Navigation Systems
• Knowledge on Configuration Management, Requirement Management & Defect Tracking tools
• Hands on experience SW life Cycle Integrated tool like RTC
• Knowledge on latest Continuous Integration (CI) tools (like JENKINS)
• Knowledge Python to automate compile/test cycle validations
• Create technological innovation (including patents) strategy, drive & knowledge management

People Management / Associate Engagement:

• Associate Career Development & engagement via the available instruments such as GPD, CDD, TAR, ASxx
• Plan, nominate & coach TCP, PCP & Line associates for targeted development as per talent assessment
• Plan appropriate competency development, approve training for group members
• Performance reviews and feedback
• Recruitment planning for group as per skill metrics and team composition pyramid
• Team building activities
• Communication of identified measures and tracking implementation of measures
• Contribution to department/section/organization goals & initiatives
