We are now looking for a Zoho Developer (Automation Expert) who can handle complete business automation within the Zoho ecosystem -- covering onboarding, HR, payroll, accounting, CRM, and operational workflows.
Role Overview
As a Zoho Developer at ZipNom, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and automating complex business workflows across the entire Zoho One suite. You'll ensure that internal operations -- from employee onboarding to client billing -- are seamlessly connected through automation, data accuracy, and smart process design.
You'll collaborate with HR, Finance, Sales, and Management teams to create a unified digital ecosystem that runs efficiently with minimal manual intervention.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize modules across Zoho People, Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Recruit, Zoho Projects, and Zoho Flow.
Create automated workflows, approval processes, and custom functions using Deluge scripting.
Build end-to-end automation pipelines -- from employee onboarding to payroll, expense management, and invoicing.
Integrate Zoho apps with external tools (CRM, WhatsApp, Gmail, Twilio, etc.) via APIs or Zoho Flow.
Configure user roles, permissions, and data access control across applications.
Build real-time dashboards and reports for HR, sales, and finance teams.
Ensure smooth synchronization between Zoho People, Books, Payroll, and CRM data.
Automate daily alerts, task assignments, and email workflows.
Collaborate with multiple departments to understand and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Troubleshoot and maintain existing automations and scripts.
Requirements
Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Zoho Developer or similar automation role.
Strong hands-on expertise in Zoho People, Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, and Zoho Flow.
Proficiency in Deluge scripting and Zoho APIs.
Ability to develop custom workflows, reports, forms, and dashboards.
Knowledge of end-to-end HR, finance, and sales workflows.
Experience in automating multi-department processes (onboarding, attendance, appraisals, leave, payroll, billing, and sales pipelines).
Familiarity with webhooks, REST APIs, and third-party integrations.
Good understanding of business logic and process automation.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and data integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing Zoho One for multi-department automation.
Familiarity with Zoho Analytics, Zoho Recruit, and Zoho Sign.
Knowledge of automation tools like n8n, Make, or Pabbly for external integrations.
Exposure to AI-assisted workflows or chatbot integrations within Zoho.
Understanding of compliance workflows (EPF, ESI, TDS in Payroll, etc.).
