Plan, organize, and supervise all workshop activities to ensure timely vehicle servicing and repairs.
Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload.
Monitor job progress and ensure adherence to repair standards and timelines.
Maintain and enforce safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards in the workshop.
2. Productivity & Quality Control
Ensure maximum utilization of manpower, equipment, and bay capacity.
Monitor technician efficiency, productivity, and quality of work.
Conduct periodic audits of repair quality and implement corrective measures.
Review and approve job cards, estimates, and final billing accuracy.
3. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, train, and motivate the workshop team including Service Advisors, Technicians, and Support Staff.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for skill enhancement.
Maintain discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies within the team.
4. Customer Satisfaction
Ensure timely delivery of vehicles with proper communication to customers.
Handle escalated customer complaints professionally and ensure resolution.
Maintain high levels of CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) through service excellence.
5. Business & Financial Control
Monitor workshop revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Control wastage of consumables, tools, and resources.
Coordinate with the parts department for parts availability and stock control.
Achieve monthly and annual targets for service revenue and labor productivity.
6. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on workshop performance.
Coordinate with bodyshop, spare parts, and customer relations departments.
Ensure compliance with OEM and company audit requirements.
