Relevant experience

3-7 years of Professional/Technical Experience in Telecom with good knowledge in Planning & Designing of Wireless Network

Sound understanding of Mobile Tower, Antenna and RRU construction standards and field implementation, Expertise in RAN Expansion activities, RF / Tx planning and optimization. Preferred Good understanding of RRU, BBU , Power utilities and should be able to prepare the BOQ and BOM for Wireless Design.

Key Responsibilities

Should have ability to understand site Installation design document

Preparing the Site installation design document based on the infra & RF survey input

Should have good hands on in Cell Sites deployment and Operations & Maintenance

Should have experience in installation of BBU ,RF Radio, Antenna , GPS & RETcables

Good Understanding about BBU, RRH, CPRI ,Jumper ,feeder ,DC power ,RET cable & External alarm connectivity at field end

Should have experience in installing Battery Bank, Power plant, Rectifiers ,Diesel Generators & Mobile Tower ( GBT, RTT, RTP )

Basic knowledge about Transmission equipment like Fiber, Microwave ,MUX, Cisco Router , SFP

Knowledge on infra & RF field survey

Preparing the BOM/BOQ based on the infra & RF survey input

End to end delivery of designs services including but not limited to Detail Design, validating RF documents and site designs

Communicate with stakeholders on the rejections and corrective actions.

Preparing and interpreting specifications, drawings and regulations for the use of telecommunications equipment

Create power designs as per power utility guidelines.

Communicate with field teams for any additional data/clarification required.

Technical Competencies

RAN equipment installation

Cell site infra & RF Survey

RF and antenna technologies

Knowledge on Baseband Unit (BBU), RRH , Antenna

Understanding of Wireless transmission network, Mobile Tower deployment

Knowledge on Equipment cabinets

Good hands on experience on MS Office tools (Power Point, Visio, Excel)

Communicate with teams for any additional data / clarification required

Knowledge of RF, Microwave & other emerging wireless technologies

Good understanding of Mobile Tower/Antennae/RRU construction activities

Excellent verbal / written communication skills

Good knowledge of BOQ and BOM for Wireless Design
