Job Description

Role & responsibilities Routing and Switching: Design, configure, and maintain SprintMap\'s routing and switching infrastructure. Troubleshoot complex network issues related to routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, and Layer 2/3 protocols. Implement and manage network redundancy and high availability solutions. Firewalls: Manage and maintain firewall solutions to safeguard SprintMap\'s network from security threats. Continuously monitor and analyze firewall logs and security events. Implement and enforce security policies and access controls. Load Balancers: Configure, manage, and optimize load balancers to ensure efficient distribution of network traffic. Proactively monitor load balancer performance and troubleshoot any issues. Collaborate closely with application teams to ensure seamless load balancing for critical services. Network Security: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry security practices and emerging threats. Conduct security audits and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and configurations. Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and capacity planning. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions aligned with business objectives. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on networking technologies. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification is mandatory. Proficiency in Cisco networking equipment and technologies. In-depth knowledge of network security principles and practices. Prior experience with firewall platforms (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet ). Expertise in load balancer technologies (e.g., F5, Citrix NetScaler ).
