Position: Windows Server Admin Location : Hyderabad Exp : 5-8 yrs JobDescription: We are seeking a skilledWindowsServerAdministratorto join our team and oversee the management and maintenance of ourWindowsServer environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintainingWindowsServer operating systems, as well as managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other server-related services. Troubleshooting server issues, ensuring high availability and security, and implementing best practices will be keyresponsibilities. Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation will be highly advantageous in this role. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintainWindowsServer operating systems and server roles. Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and Group Policies. Configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and other network services. Monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system resources. Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place. Investigate and resolve server issues, applying troubleshooting techniques and utilizing appropriate tools. Implement security measures to protect servers and network infrastructure. Stay up to date with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends inWindowsServeradministration. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of server infrastructure. Develop and maintain documentation, including server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Provide technical guidance and support to junior administrators, as needed. Requirements: 5+yrs of Proven experience as aWindowsServerAdministratoror similar role. Strong knowledge ofWindowsServer operating systems (WindowsServer 2016/2019/2022). Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other server services. Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation for serveradministrationtasks. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or similar are preferred.
