Job Profile : Window and Vmware Administrator
Job Location : Pune
Experience Required : 4-5 yrs
: Windows administrator is required to take care of day-to-day tasks which include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and monitor Windows and Citrix systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Installs and upgrade OS environments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Apply security patches as per the compliance cycle. \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshoot and fix system error logs and user-reported errors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshoot and work with hardware vendors to replace, install or upgrade required hardware. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform security scans, tests, and monitoring. \xe2\x80\xa2 Grants and manages system permissions and user accounts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and manage file access as per company policy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide technical support to application teams. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide release support to the application team as needed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide work effort estimates for new projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will be responsible for building and maintaining web, virtual, and client-server environments for the enterprise. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve any IT service issues related to operating systems and servers; partner with the other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve related issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will need to leverage optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computer systems and Implement and maintains a systems business impact assessment to prioritize system recovery in the event of a failure. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will build and implement software standards for operating systems, servers and virtualized infrastructure. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will also be expected to evaluate new technologies to meet business needs or to solve business problems. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will manage and lead Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learned and prevention processes to provide high standard deliverables that meet SLA (Service Level Adherence) and ensure CSAT (Customer Satisfaction). \xe2\x80\xa2 All you need is\xe2\x80\xa6 \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree in science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong experience in administration and troubleshooting of Windows OS \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong knowledge of active directory, DNS, TCP /IP, and general networking concepts \xe2\x80\xa2 Must have worked with day-to-day user and application-related issues on Windows servers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong troubleshooting skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in troubleshooting VMware environment

• Experience in troubleshooting the Citrix environment. Nice to have. \xe2\x80\xa2 Scripting knowledge, especially PowerShell will be a big plus. \xe2\x80\xa2 Azure cloud exposure is an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 SQL DB server administration or IIS Web server administration experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oracle Admin.

• Good hands-on on Windows OS which includes troubleshooting, installation, upgradation, sharing RCA post any incidents, etc
• Hands-on on Domain controllers viz active directory, DNS, DHCP, printers, along with troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on on Citrix environment, troubleshooting, publishing applications, etc
• Hands-on on Vmware/Vcenter/VDI infra, along with troubleshooting, installation of servers/VDI desktops, publishing the VDI, expanding LUNs, installation of VMs, etc
• Patching of servers, windows patches/antivirus, governance on compliance, tool preferred SCCM for Windows patching.
• Manage BAU activities, ticketing, and work on project plans.
• Look for automation & service improvement
