Job Description

Joining Metal Parts:

Welders fuse metal pieces together using heat and pressure, creating strong, durable joints.

Reading Blueprints:

They interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and procedures.

Material Preparation:

Welders measure, cut, and prepare metal components for welding, ensuring accuracy and precision.

Operating Welding Equipment:

They operate various welding machines and equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding machines, to perform welding tasks.

Inspecting Welds:

Welders inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Safety:

They adhere to safety procedures and regulations when operating equipment and working in a welding environment.
