Gestamp is an international group specialized in the design, development and manufacture of highly engineered metal components for top vehicle manufacturers.
We are looking for Weld Process Engineer for Takve location who is having 6 to 8 years of Experience in Manufacturing industry.


Job Responsibilities and Major Activities / Tasks:

• Establish process at new product development includes machine set-up, product trials, process validation
• Tool, jigs & Fixture manufacturing.
• Developing & updating process control Documents i.e. parameter sheet, program list, SOP etc.
• Continues improvement in press & weld processes.
• Compliance to IAFT, VDA, Customer requirements.
• Support maintenance department process and machine optimisation.
• Implementation of new technology
• Execute benchmark projects.
• To complete product testing as per requirement.
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods.
• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labour, and material costs.
• Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
• Maintains product and process database.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven abilities in an industrial environment
• Good knowledge of Automotive environment (preferred in sheet metal stamping)
• Analytic and can keep the overview
• Good skills in MS-office.
• Ability to lead and work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Diploma In Mechanical Engineering. OR BE with Mechanical Background.
• B Tech
