Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate weighbridge equipment to weigh incoming and outgoing goods accurately. Verify material details, including type, quantity, and quality as per documentation. Coordinate with transporters, warehouse, and production teams for smooth logistics. Record weights and maintain daily logs and reports. Inspect weighbridge equipment regularly and ensure it is calibrated correctly. Ensure proper documentation of material receipts and dispatches. Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness around the weighbridge area. Assist in inventory tracking and reporting discrepancies if any. Communicate with management regarding issues or irregularities in weighing processes. Support audits and inspections by providing accurate records.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is a plus. Prior experience as a Weighbridge Operator or similar role preferred. Knowledge of weighing equipment and basic mechanical troubleshooting. Good numerical and documentation skills. Ability to work in shifts and handle physically demanding tasks. Attention to detail and integrity in reporting data. Good communication and coordination skills.

Work Environment:

Industrial or manufacturing setting. Interaction with drivers, logistics staff, and warehouse teams. Shift rotations may apply.
