By: * Developing & executing successful content strategies for key clients, through a combination of original and associated content
  • By creating a mutually profitable ecosystem between creators, platforms and brands
  • Evangelizing great ideas and ensuring they reach their true potential in terms of value, through stakeholder buy-ins.

  • Deep learning of multiple aspects of content marketing - creating IPs, measurement, technology, advocacy and much more

In three months, you would have: * Created a branded content strategy for the Top 5 clients
  • Ideated and closed at least 2 large, new projects
  • Built a relationship with at least 3 CMOs of large brands
  • Become extremely comfortable with a data driven approach to content
In six months, you would have: * Been part of a large IP creation exercise for a brand
  • Would be 100% comfortable working with internal (GroupM, WPP) and external partners
  • Taken the region on course to achieving the revenue targets
  • Met at least 5 clients and created a pipeline for the next six months
  • Inspired the second line and created sustainable processes that all stakeholders are comfortable with
  • Established a strong trust-based relationship with internal client leaders
In 12 months, you would have: * Met or exceeded the annual revenue targets for South
  • Created at least 5 water-tight, profitable client relationships
  • Created new revenue streams - with new clients or new models
  • Created a PR profile for yourself
  • Contributed to winning at least one elite National or Global award
  • Hired members in the team in line with our D&I (diversity & inclusion) guidelines
Responsibilities of the role:
  • P&L - Management and running of a profit centre responsible for services rendered across Content (TV, Film, Digital, Social, Mobile, Sports and Live Events) for WM India (West) Clients
  • Project management - Development, pitching and execution of projects across clients
  • Deal negotiation and closure with partners, rights owners and clients, for a win-win proposition for all parties concerned
  • People leadership - inspire a team that is creative and performance driven in equal parts and represents a positive and vibrant sub-culture
  • Creative leadership - conbute to the creative engine of Wavemaker content, contributing and collaborating with the central creative team
  • Collaboration - Working closely with the central GroupM team for market opportunities and execution and with business teams and GMs for brand / client understanding.
