Receive raw tea, packaging materials, and other supplies as per purchase orders.
Verify quantity, batch number, expiry date, and physical condition.
Report shortages, damages, or quality issues immediately.
2. Storage & Housekeeping
Store materials and finished goods as per FIFO/FEFO principles.
Maintain proper stacking, labeling, and segregation of materials.
Ensure warehouse cleanliness as per food safety and hygiene norms.
Follow pest control and sanitation guidelines.
3. Dispatch & Loading
Assist in picking, packing, and loading finished tea products.
Ensure correct quantity, batch, and documentation during dispatch.
Support safe loading/unloading to avoid damage.
4. Inventory Control
Assist in maintaining stock records (manual or ERP/SAP).
Conduct daily/periodic stock checks and physical verification.
Inform warehouse in-charge about slow-moving or expired stock.
5. Documentation & Records
Maintain GRN, delivery challans, issue slips, and stock registers.
Support internal and external audits (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, etc.).
6. Safety & Compliance
Follow safety rules and use PPE (gloves, masks, safety shoes).
Adhere to food safety standards (FSSAI, GMP, GHP).
Ensure no contamination of tea products.
7. Coordination
Coordinate with production, quality, logistics, and accounts teams.
Follow instructions from supervisors and support team operations.
Required Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations
Understanding of FIFO/FEFO
Ability to handle FMCG food products carefully
Basic documentation and record-keeping skills
