Overview

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Conduct standardized testing and assess student performance regularly. Provide tutoring and academic advising to support individual student needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere. Mentor students through academic challenges and encourage scientific research initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional design. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field; higher education teaching experience preferred. Experience working with students in various settings including private schools or special education environments is advantageous. Proven classroom experience with effective lesson planning and classroom management skills. Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff. Familiarity with instructional design principles and educational administration is a plus. Ability to conduct laboratory experiences related to scientific subjects is desirable.
