Job Summary:



The Steward is responsible for ensuring excellent guest service by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and proper setup in the dining area. The role also involves assisting in food and beverage service, supporting the serving staff, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service



Greet guests politely and assist them in seating. Present menu and serve food and beverages as per company standards. Ensure guests' needs are attended to promptly and courteously. Maintain product knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and promotions.

Table Setup & Maintenance



Prepare the table setup before service (cutlery, napkins, glassware, etc.). Clear used plates and clean tables efficiently after each course. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in dining and service areas. Ensure tables are reset quickly for the next guests.

Hygiene & Cleanliness



Follow all food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines). Ensure proper sanitization of service equipment, crockery, and cutlery. Maintain cleanliness in service stations and pantry areas. Handle utensils carefully to prevent breakage or wastage.

Team Coordination



Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food service. Assist senior stewards and captains during rush hours. Support other departments (like housekeeping or kitchen) when required.

Communication & Professionalism



Maintain a pleasant appearance and polite behavior at all times. Communicate guest feedback or complaints to the captain or manager immediately. Follow grooming and uniform standards as per company policy.

Skills & Competencies:



Good communication skills (Hindi & basic English preferred). Knowledge of table service and restaurant etiquette. Basic understanding of food & beverage operations. Strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented and disciplined.

Qualification & Experience:



Minimum 10th / 12th pass or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred. 0-2 years of experience in a restaurant or hotel service role. Freshers with the right attitude and grooming may also apply.

Work Schedule:



Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:



As per industry standards and company policy.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
