Key Responsibilities
Guest Interaction:
Greet customers warmly upon arrival, present menus, and escort them to their tables.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Order Taking:
Accurately take food and beverage orders.
Answer guest queries regarding menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
Offer menu suggestions and upsell where appropriate.
Food & Beverage Service:
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
Ensure that all orders are delivered accurately and attractively presented.
Customer Satisfaction:
Regularly check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
Handle complaints or concerns politely and promptly, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
Payment Processing:
Prepare customer bills and ensure accurate processing of cash and card payments.
Provide receipts and change when required.
Table Maintenance:
Clear used dishes and clean tables efficiently.
Reset tables neatly for the next guests.
Menu Knowledge:
Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation styles.
Be aware of daily specials, promotions, and hotel events.
Teamwork:
Coordinate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and supervisors to ensure smooth service.
Assist team members during busy hours.
Hygiene & Safety:
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitization standards at all times.
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and service stations.
