Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
Present menus, explain menu items, and make recommendations when required.
Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining presentation and hygiene standards.
Ensure tables are set, cleaned, and maintained according to service standards.
Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
Upsell menu items, specials, and promotions where appropriate.
Follow hotel SOPs, grooming standards, and safety regulations.
Assist in closing duties, including billing, table resetting, and cleaning.
Guest Service Standards
Maintain a polite, friendly, and professional attitude at all times.
Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service.
Ensure guest satisfaction and report feedback to supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
Hotel Management certification preferred
1-3 years of experience
as a waiter in a hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
Experience in a
4-star / 5-star hotel
will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of food & beverage service etiquette.
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Physically fit to stand and walk for long hours.
Grooming & Hygiene
Well-groomed appearance as per hotel standards.
