To provide courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests in the restaurant, lounge, or banquet areas, ensuring guest satisfaction and upholding the service standards of a four-star hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
Welcome and seat guests promptly with a warm and professional demeanor.
Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar promptly.
Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating their needs and responding promptly to requests.
Handle guest complaints professionally and report to the supervisor if necessary.
Operational Duties:
Set up tables according to hotel standards before each service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
Ensure tables are cleared and reset quickly for the next guests.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service.
Assist in billing and payment procedures accurately.
Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and grooming standards.
Teamwork and Communication:
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless service.
Attend pre-service briefings and training sessions.
Communicate effectively with supervisors about special requests, VIP guests, and service challenges.

Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management.
1-2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a reputed hotel or restaurant (preferably 4-star or above).
Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and service standards.
Proficiency in English; additional languages an advantage.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, and glassware safely.
Work Schedule:
Rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements.
