The Waiter is responsible for providing courteous and efficient service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The role includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests courteously and assist them in seating.
Present menu, take food and beverage orders accurately, and repeat orders to confirm.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Ensure tables are properly set up before service and cleared efficiently after.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the service area at all times.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth order flow and service.
Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and report major issues to the supervisor.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and ongoing promotions.
Ensure billing accuracy and process guest payments as per restaurant procedure.
Follow all grooming, service, and safety standards as set by management.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification: Diploma in Hotel Management or hospitality course is compulsory
Prior experience (1-2 years) as Waiter/Steward in a reputed restaurant or hotel preferred or freshers who completed the hotel management course can applyl
Good communication skills in English and Malayalam; Hindi knowledge an advantage.
Pleasant personality, customer-oriented attitude, and team spirit.
Ability to work under pressure and in flexible shifts.
