The Waiter is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and prompt service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in line with four-star hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests courteously, presenting menus and taking orders.
Serve food and beverages accurately and promptly.
Ensure tables are properly set up, clean, and well-maintained before and after service.
Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and guest service.
Upsell menu items, promotions, and special offers to maximize revenue.
Handle guest complaints and requests politely and efficiently.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow.
Follow hotel policies, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Assist in mise-en-place, side stations, and overall restaurant readiness.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management or relevant training in F&B service.
1-2 years' experience in a reputed hotel/restaurant (freshers with good communication may also be considered).
Good communication skills in English and local language.
Guest-oriented, courteous, and a team player.
Ability to work under pressure and in shifts.
Well-groomed with professional appearance.
