To perform and manage the activities involved in the elicitation, analysis and documentation of business and system requirements, for medium/large client-facing projects (e.g. Website Redesign). . To act as the primary point of contact for the business regarding their functional and non-functional needs. To collaborate with business stakeholders and internal teams to design and implement business analysis processes that fit their maturity level, culture and internal processes. . To support and matrix manage more junior Business Analysts on client-facing projects. . To ensure that requirements are clearly defined in simple, unambiguous language, and are validated, verified and testable. . To elicit and map business requirements through the use of workshops with the business users and other methods. The ideal candidate for this role would come from an ecommerce B2B background. . Work with business to define proposition MVP and support the prioritisation of backlogs. . Work with development teams to support effort estimation. . Ensure that quality practices are embedded early within delivery teams Management and delivery of the onsite SAP Hybris solution(s) Main Responsibilities . Analyse business and system requirements for customer-facing eCommerce and digital projects. . Elicit and elaborate requirements via user interviews, meetings, workshops, etc. . Evaluate & propose business process design and documentation, based on software platform capabilities . Create business models, workflows and other diagrams to aid the understanding of business requirements . Document requirements, usually as Epics and User Stories. . Analyse, document and validate the client's acceptance criteria for each requirement, utilising a Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) approach . Playback elaborated requirements and User Stories to the business for sign-off . Handover elaborated requirements to the development teams, further supporting them by providing clarifications during active Sprints . Produce concise and accurate functional documentation to support stakeholder learning . Proactively build trusting and positive relationships with stakeholders . Manage expectations regarding scope and requirements . Create and execute test scripts for functional features and system integrations . Support the triage, recreation and root cause analysis for defects found during testing . Provide initial system training to internal teams, and end users . Support pre-and post-implementation activities and basic application support . Conduct stakeholder analysis and interviews with key business stakeholders . Estimate business analysis activities and assisting the project manager with the scheduling and sequencing of business analysis deliverables . Act as the primary point of contact for the client regarding the business analysis processes and their functional and non-functional needs for the software solution . Collaborate with the internal project team to design and implement a business analysis processes that are tailored to the organisation's needs, levels of maturity, culture and existing ways of working . Champion business analysis best practice within the organisation. . Challenge requirements to ensure they are 'needs' not 'wants' . Mentor more junior Business Analysts on CX projects . Quality assure the work of more junior Business Analysts on client-facing projects . Support the VTIS CX team in pre-project activities, such as mapping requirements to out of the box functionality and providing functional demonstrations to business stakeholders . Work closely with the business product owners, VTIS delivery manager, internal/external IT teams to successfully deliver successful digital propositions. Must demonstrate proactivity and great communications skills, as well as being friendly and outgoing. . Build and maintain effective relationships with the VTBA teams, VTIS teams and other Third Parties . Understand the as-is and to-be business and functional processes. Accountable for ensuring successful transition to future processes . Create test scenarios and scripts, execute tests and raise, triage & manage defects through the defect management tooling, driving through resolution with third parties . Document and manage any change requests that arise through any of the project phases . Support the solution through cutover and hyper-care phases . Understands how eCommerce platforms integrate with other VTIS applications and solutions, maintains functional documentation as changes are made to applications and processes. . Communicate progress and escalate risks and issues to delivery manager and project managers. . Work with other CX project team members to ensure dependencies with other projects are communicated and managed. What you can expect from us . Minimum 3 years' experience working on eCommerce platforms as a business systems analyst or technical BA role working within an eCommerce function. . Solid all-round understanding of eCommerce web platforms, specifically Hybris (ideally certified Hybris BA) . Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and other suppliers. . Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills . Strong leadership skills - guides, inspires and motivates departmental team and stakeholders, creating a clear vision and set of deliverables . Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise workloads, while meeting all deadlines in a fast-paced environment . Can-do attitude - thinks ahead takes ownership, follows through and goes the extra mile . Ability to find viable solutions which may be impacted by technical constraints . Good understanding of the software development lifecycle . Fluent in English Other skills and knowledge: Analytical approach to problem solving, Methodical and logical mindset, Good communication skills, quick learner.
