Role Responsibilities

Strategy*

  • Through Workforce Optimization, deliver a consistent balance between Cost and Service goals for the organization across units managed.
  • Drive productivity through workforce practices of not just people optimization but also ensuring alignment to spans and layer set at organization level, Seats & other requirements balanced through better scheduling.
  • BFS ops, Large Transformation, Change and WFM experience
Business*

The incumbent will be responsible for partnering with

1. Business units and Group Functions

Processes*

1. Proven track record of leading WFM practice in BFSI / Third Party BPO with an entrepreneurial outlook to lead change

2. Total years of experience 18 to 20 years minimum

3. Should have lead and managed a vertical and team managing experience of minimum 10 years

4. Own Cost reduction targets at the organization level and ensure its embedded well within the Workforce delivery

5. Direct WFM team in all aspects of Workforce Empowerment including Forecasting, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Real Time Management across various units in the Managed Services vertical.

6. Will be responsible for handling 15,000 to 20,000 staffs

7. Will be responsible for managing a function, with a direct reports of AVP/Sr. manager of 3 to 4

8. Own and deliver long and short-term staffing requirements; collaborate with business leaders to make staffing decisions that support operational objectives

9. Own and manage various initiatives for increasing Resource Utilization through Seat Management, Productivity Management across business by working with various stakeholders.

10. Ensure workload balance and staff well-being.

People & Talent *

1. Create a clear vision for Team that drives the business forward and ensures delivery of plans through day to day management of direct and indirect reports. Activities include but is not limited to -

Forecast Volumes, Cycle time analysis, Real time management.

2. Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.

Risk Management*

1. Proactively provide analysis and recommendations on Operational issues including multi-skilling complimentary queues & advising on appropriate courses of action to correct problems or respond to changes in trends, patterns and business requirements

2. Ensure adherence to risk management framework.

Qualifications*

Training, licenses, memberships and certifications
  • Qualification \xe2\x80\x93 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree / Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree ( preferred) in Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math.
  • Good communication skills both vocal and written
  • Sound knowledge on Workforce Management concepts
  • Knowledge of workforce tools
  • Exceptional influencing and leadership skills,
  • 18 to 20+ Years of relevant experience
  • BFS ops, Large Transformation, Change and WFM experience, it will be 80% IC role
