The Role Responsibilities Overview Primarily responsible for providing a highly detailed analytic view which permits for intelligent insights for opportunities, cost reporting, cost accountability, saves and ownership. The role will require strong analytic skills with the emphasis on translating multiple data points that will drive decision making. Easily builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders, influence long-term FinOps strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the senior manager level with technology decision makers. Ability to introduce new tools which are compatible with the application set available in the workplace, with the aim to produce detailed, informative reports that are automated with live data. Seeking a Business Efficiency Lead whose role will be to help manage infrastructure initiatives to drive Technology Simplification and efficiencies across the estate (inc Cloud). Experienced with budget management processes, cost analytics and cost optimisation with a good knowledge of Cloud and Infrastructure charging mechanisms. Good knowledge of Project Management disciplines and background to ensure task accountabilities are tracked and delivered to defined timelines. Knowledge in process engineering to establish new processes, working practices and improve existing processes which are measurable. Understanding of Project Management frameworks and disciplines to ensure deadlines are tracked, reported and maintained. Collaborates well with all levels of the business regardless of department or seniority. This will include external parties. Willingness in approach to improve and succeed, focus on innovation and ability to learn new technologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organisation. Ability to work with partners and teams to build and communicate simplified process documents. Cloud Financial Management Responsible for assessing proposed solution from a FinOps perspective with a broad set of stakeholders, whilst validating the solution with Global platform teams to ensure full compliance on technology and security within financial budget. Ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting of Cloud engineering, engagement teams, Cross border financial engagement models and charging of products. Ability to produce enhanced reporting (via BI tools) taking data from tools such as Cloudability, AWS and Azure to drive appropriate hygiene across Cloud. CIO engagement to support infrastructure initiatives and cost impacts such as Cloud migration, rightsizing, re-tiering storage support. Establishing financial governance to facilitate transparent, accurate and timely recharging of services. Assist technical team to capture benefits: Savings Plan, Enterprise Discounts, RI&rsquos. Understand consumption-based chargeback mechanisms. Engagement with 3rd party vendors. Strategy Co-ordinate with and support all teams across the organisation, acting as an advisor, contributor and champion of best practices in the realms of financial sense and optimisation goals. Monitoring and controlling the overall Cloud FinOps Plan in line business expectations. Contribute to the successful delivery of the Cloud and On-Prem FinOps organisation. Adapting to emerging risks and issues to maximize outcomes. People and Talent Influence and indirect leadership to bring teams together to deliver, remove any impediments, and drive a collaborative culture. Coach, build and lead a team of FinOps specialists within the organisation. Achieve the desired business outcomes. Governance Design, develop, and maintain reports and KPIs that provide detailed usage statistics of resources across the multi cloud landscape. Analyse, report, and produce meaningful insights from large raw datasets on billing and usage tools. Identify and communicate cost saving opportunities. Advanced data analytics and business intelligence abilities, focussing on producing accurate detailed data and reports - Reports will be produced within Tableau, PowerBi and MS Excel. Demonstrates ability to develop, communicate and educate on standard operating procedures within their given function. Self-motivated / directed with an ability to take direction from multiple areas. Highly productive, delivers quality results with attention to detail. Attention to detail is essential given the Executive target audience. The ability to simultaneously work on multiple project and deadlines. Applies standards consistently across all solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Adherence to standard operating procedures. Adapts in a rapidly changing environment. Our Ideal Candidate Bachelor&rsquos degree in business, Finance, IT or analytics Master\'s degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of overall professional experience Financial Analyst and / or Business Analyst background preferred. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Cloud FinOps / Cloud spend optimisation. Advanced knowledge of MS products, especially Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI. Expert with Tableau and PowerBi knowledge. FinOps certification desirable.
