Job Description


As a part of the Licensing and Regulatory Management Team in CAO, the candidate needs to manage and work in the following areas: Overseeing and managing regulatory reporting obligations - delivering timely and zero defect submissions to various regulatory bodies. End to end management of key regulatory stakeholder interactions. Managing external audits and regulatory inspections. Tracking regulatory obligations applicable to the India entity Monitoring the regulatory change landscape Leading technology initiatives, utilizing latest technology for achieving efficiency and strengthening controls Exercising Risk and Control policy procedures. Extending critical support to the India entity for ensuring adherence with applicable Indian laws and regulations. Ensuring strengthening of governance and controls on various regulatory and licensing processes. Management reporting - identifying, solutioning and tracking operational risks Running various initiatives to ensure the entity\'s external vendors are compliant with applicable statutory labor law requirements Engaging with senior internal as well as regulatory stakeholders, engaging in challenging conversations with stakeholders on complex compliance and regulatory issues. Driving/participating in strategic decision making process to take a call on complex situations. Establishing and maintaining good relations with key regulatory authorities. Demonstrating the ability to establish a positive influence on challenging discussions with regulatory offices. Having the knack of devising pragmatic yet compliant solutions. Front ending internal stake holder reporting and management. Managing function\'s deliverables and achieving key objectives. Team manager of experienced team members. Managing Risk and Controls aspects of the function. Budget management, vendor spend controls, driving vendor strategies. Driving key projects/initiatives on \'focus areas\'. Maintaining line of sight over multiple ongoing regulatory projects driving various initiatives to successful closure. Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, issue identification, assessing the impact of regulatory changes and working with impacted teams to achieve 100% implementation. Timely regulatory submissions (including applications for regulatory licenses, renewals, filling returns) for key regulators : Software Tech. Parks of India, Department of Telecomm, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, Labour officers under Contract Labour Regulation Act and Shops & Establishments Act and other Labour Department (Gen.), Special Economic Zones, India and Director General of Foreign Trade Managing and overseeing technology upgradation initiatives and process mapping and managing end to end compliance process with updates based on digitization and integration models and implementation of regulatory compliance implementation via technology initiatives Management of upcoming regulatory digitization of processes and moving regulatory submissions to online portals and ensuring oversight over online submissions across several regulators under Digital and paperless initiatives launched by Indian government
