Expectations from the role/candidate
Storytelling through data is both an art and a science, we are looking for a Data Scientist to do just that. At its core, it is a job for someone who loves data and is interested in how people consume information. The role involves weaving information and data into a narrative that delivers a compelling story, simplifying numbers to make sense to people in an impactful way. The role can also require the individual to be involved in Data Management, Modeling solutions deployment & environment management.

Qualifications & Work Experience:
Key Responsibilities: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering/ Computer Science or any other equivalent discipline with MBA, and 3+ years of Analytics or IT industry experience Technical:
1. Experience with SQL and data warehousing (e.g., Teradata/Oracle/DB2)
2. Experience using tools in BI, ETL, Reporting /Visualization/Dashboards like QlikView,
Alteryx, Stream Lit
3. Experience with data handling using Hive SQL, R , Python Jupyter notebook, PySpark is
desired
4. Exposure to Bigdata based analytical solutions and hands-on experience with data lakes/
data cleansing/ data management
5. Exposure to Big Query/Looker in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an added advantage

Non-technical:
Good Analysis and problem-solving skills.
Ability to get Insights from Data, provide visualization, and storytelling.
Flexibility to explore and work with newer technologies and tools.
Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and set direction when faced with ambiguous scenarios.
Excellent collaborative communication and Team skills.
