We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Accountable for ensuring effective compliance with the banks control framework. e.g. ensuring non functional controls have been completed for changes being deployed, changes meet data control compliance, etc.
  • Work with SQM (Service Quality Managers) and be accountable and responsible (A&R) for the quality of services within service line.
  • Monitoring and driving initiatives to ensure operation stability and continuous improvement on the quality of service for the Collections application.
  • Ensuring development and support teams adhere to the banks governance processes and ensuring compliance with all IT control requirements.
  • Be accountable (A) to ensure the service definition is defined and documented correctly and maintained on an ongoing basis in different repositories i.e. EIM, GSD, PLADA, CMB and SCOTT, for providing NFR signoff for all the changes delivered with regards to service
  • Pro-active planning of service requirements (eg, Evergreening, planning capacity upgrades) and regularly communicating the benefits and performance of their service to the Business (Product owners)
  • Be a contact or escalation point when requests for service information are requested from stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within Organization such as other Service Owners; POD Team Members; Release Management, Risk & Control Officers/Stewards; Evergreening Leads; Infrastructure Leads; SSP Leads and CCO Tech colleagues, and within Group such as ITID and Cyber Security.
  • Delegate requests for information and completion of regular reviews to POD team members for completion, then consolidate information and respond to requester.
  • Be accountable for ensuring inventory tools that record service and application information are kept UpToDate and correct as changes to the platform are made and accountability for activities in Incident, Problem and Change Management of the service, ensuring the right service continuity procedures are followed for the services built and supported.
  • Be accountable and responsible (A&R) to ensure the services are running on supported infrastructure and software versions, accountability for setting up the governance process around the access control processes for services within Core Solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of Agile and DevOps including experience of Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Management, Change/Release Management, Application Production Support with knowledge of service recovery.
  • A proven track-record of developing and delivering service improvements.
  • Experience using service management, service monitoring, knowledge management, communication and workflow tools e.g Jira Service Desk, etc and have good understanding of Mainframe / Vision Plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships across business and Software Development teams globally.
  • A flexible & committed approach with a willingness to work outside of core hours on an as needs basis.
  • Ability to understand Collections system which is on VisionPlus and some market on GCP.
  • Strong decision maker and proactive self-starter
  • Proven analytical skills & ability to deal with complex & technical data
  • Experience with DevOps tooling such as Ansible, Jenkins, AWS / GCP tooling, ELK, Confluence and Jira is plus.
  • Role relevant qualifications, i.e.ITIL , Service Management qualifications (Foundation, Intermediate, Practitioner) and Certifications of ITIL/CISSP/ISP/PMP/ITSM will be a plus.
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Proven experience of Service Transition, Service Introduction or Service Management
